Byron Buxton was scratched from the Minnesota Twins’ lineup for the team’s game against the Cleveland Indians in Puerto Rico on Tuesday due to migraines.
Buxton has dealt with migraines in the past and missed time last summer due to them.
“If you haven’t played with a migraine yet, you don’t know what pain is,” Buxton said to the Pioneer Press in March.
The 24-year-old is batting .195 this season and hasn’t found his stroke yet. He was replaced in the lineup by Max Kepler.
