Twitter went nuts trying to figure out what was on Joc Pederson’s neck at HR Derby
Joc Pederson sent baseballs flying out of the park at Monday’s Home Run Derby, and he also sent conspiracy theories flying on Twitter at the same time.
The Los Angeles Dodgers slugger had a battle for the ages against Toronto Blue Jays rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr, combining with him for a record 79 homers in the second round but ultimately falling short to the 20-year-old.
As fun as the duel was, Pederson caused something of a sideshow with six mysterious dots on the back of his neck that social media took note of. Many users chimed in with their theories as to what exactly those dots were.

Whether the dots are related to a previous injury or if Pederson is just an alien, it certainly had the Internet buzzing. For now, this may be an even greater baseball mystery than Baltimore’s dugout drinks.
