Allen Crabbe is taking his trade from the Brooklyn Nets personally.
Crabbe on Thursday was traded by the Nets to the Atlanta Hawks for Taurean Prince in a salary dump. Three draft picks changed hands as part of the deal.
Crabbe addressed the trade on his Instagram story later in the day, saying hello to Atlanta. He also wrote that even though people say trades are part of the business, it’s always going to be personal for him.

Crabbe was owed $18.5 million for the upcoming season. By trading him for Prince, the Nets are saving around $15 million against the cap, which should give them space to go after a major free agent.
Crabbe, 26, averaged 9.6 points per game last season and could use this deal as motivation for the upcoming year.
