Early in the second quarter of Saturday’s game between the Warriors and Rockets, Corey Brewer’s shoe came off when he lost his balance and fell to the floor. Brewer was forced to continue playing without it until after Marreese Speights made an open jumper. Apparently, Andre Iguodala wanted Brewer to play with only one shoes for a little while longer.
As Brewer leaned over to pick up his shoe, Iguodala kicked it across the lane and received a technical foul for doing so.
Ironically, this isn’t the first time the Warriors have been involved in shoe hijinks this season. Last month, they were on the other end when Tyson Chandler swatted Speights’ shoe out of bounds after Stephen Curry tried to toss it back to him.
