Report: Blake Griffin suffered hand injury punching equipment manager
Blake Griffin reportedly injured his hand while hitting a member of the Los Angeles Clippers equipment staff during an altercation.
Michael Eaves of ESPN reports that the incident took place in Toronto, where the Clippers faced the Raptors over the weekend. The fight apparently started in a restaurant and continued outside, where Griffin allegedly hit the equipment staffer “multiple times.”

Griffin has been out with a quad injury since Christmas. His latest injury was described as “team-related,” which many speculated had something to do with a fight. That speculation was accurate, though the alleged incident is even uglier than we could have imagined.
We have seen Griffin get into it with opponents on the court (video here), but that stuff happens in the heat of battle. Injuring your hand while punching an equipment manager is obviously a horrible look.
