As Charania notes, the Knicks had discussed a possible Kyle Kuzma deal with the Los Angeles Lakers that involved Morris, but New York has been informed that is not going to happen.
Morris is having his best season as a pro with the Knicks from a scoring standpoint, averaging 19.6 points per game. The Clippers have been searching for ways to improve defensively, and Morris could certainly help in that department.
Morris recently found himself in hot water when he made some negative comments about women following a skirmish with Jae Crowder and the Memphis Grizzlies. The 30-year-old has since issued an apology on Twitter.
