DeMar DeRozan involved in funny security mix-up at Air Canada Centre
Apparently, Raptors All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan is not even well-known enough in his own home arena.
DeRozan arrived at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday for an interview with Doris Burke, but ran into a funny snag when a female security guard stopped him to ask if he worked there and then proceeded to call for backup, per Chris Haynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Backup eventually arrived and ultimately clarified that, as the leading scorer of the Toronto Raptors, DeRozan did, in fact, have business being there.
Once backup arrived and saw it was DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry on the court, he said to his colleague, "That's our two best players."

With the Raptors currently entrenched in their Eastern Conference Finals series with the Cleveland Cavaliers, one would think that DeRozan, who just came off a 32-point outing in Toronto’s Game 3 victory, would be one of the most familiar faces around those parts. Oh well.
