DeMarcus Cousins puts on Keith Smart’s jacket and pretends to coach (Video)
When you foul out of a game in the fourth quarter and your team has a comfortable lead, there’s only two reasonable things you can do. You can either sit down on the bench and cheer for your teammates, or you can throw on your coach’s sport jacket and pretend to coach the team. As you can see from the video above that @jeskeets shared with us, DeMarcus Cousins opted for the latter during a win over Memphis on Tuesday night. After picking up his sixth personal foul, Cousins proceeded to the bench area and decided to play Keith Smart for a bit.
This is the same DeMarcus Cousins who is in a horrible situation with the Kings (according to Andrew Bynum) and who needed a personal babysitter in Sacramento. On this particular night, he appeared to be having a good time. Maybe it’s the fact that the Kings have improved slightly from last season that has the big man no longer feeling misunderstood.
