Fred Hoiberg calls Bulls’ current playoff chase ‘miserable’
The morale of the Chicago Bulls appears to be at all-time low, and the sentiment is even bleeding over to their head coach.
Fred Hoiberg called the team’s current chase for a low playoff seed “miserable” on Monday, per Mark Schanowski of CSN Chicago.
Fred Hoiberg says current playoff chase isn't "fun". Calls it "miserable". Kind of sums up battling for 7-8 seed.

The Bulls are currently 33-37 (10th in the Eastern Conference, one game behind the eighth-place Detroit Pistons) in a season that has been characterized by a bizarro roster construction, very public in-fighting, and now a season-ending injury to one of their star players. Management seems to have no sense of direction as to whether the team is competing or bottoming out, and with the Bulls losers of seven of their last nine games, it’s easy to see why Hoiberg’s outlook is getting a bit bleak.
