Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward went to the locker room after taking a nasty shot to the head.
Hayward was decked when he turned directly into the shoulder of Atlanta’s John Collins, who was setting a screen. He had to head to the locker room with a trainer to be checked out, presumably for a head injury.

Injuries continue to be a nagging issue for Hayward, not that there’s a lot he could have done about this one. He is almost certainly being checked for a concussion, and the Celtics will be very careful about bringing him back if there’s any doubt about his health or his head.
