Fans showed Kyle Kuzma little mercy Saturday after his nightmare playoff debut in a Milwaukee Bucks uniform.
Kuzma was a no-show in Game 1 of the Bucks’ first-round series against the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. He went scoreless in Milwaukee’s 117-98 loss, missing all five of his field goal attempts and both of his two free throws.
The 29-year-old was basically useless in other areas as well. Kuzma failed to tally a single stat in his 22 minutes of action. The Bucks were also -24 during Kuzma’s minutes on the floor, which was the worst mark on the team.
Several fans compared Kuzma to former NBA journeyman Tony Snell, who infamously had all zeros on the stat sheet during a 2017 game, coincidentally also as a member of the Bucks.

In all fairness to Snell, his stat-less game occurred during a regular season contest. Kuzma became the sixth player in NBA history to record zero stats in a playoff game.
The Bucks made the polarizing move of trading franchise icon Khris Middleton for Kuzma before February’s NBA trade deadline. Milwaukee made the deal with the expectation that Kuzma would be able to contribute more toward a playoff run. But Middleton arguably had a better game than Kuzma on Saturday while sitting on his couch.
