LeBron James sends message to Deion Sanders’ critics
Count LeBron James among those impressed with what Deion Sanders has accomplished with the Colorado Buffaloes.
James took to X on Saturday to send a pointed message to Sanders’ critics after Colorado’s convincing 49-24 win over Utah. James suggested Sanders’ critics are “in hiding,” and that Sanders has graduated from “we coming” to “we here.”
I don’t hear non of those @CUBuffsFootball @DeionSanders HATERS being up front and loud! They’re in hiding 🫣 now! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Coach Prime said “We Coming”. Well it’s “We Here” now. Love what’s going on there in Boulder. 🦬🫡

James has long been a fan of Sanders, and had backed Sanders as a potential Florida State coach before the former NFL star had even started his college coaching career. He would be pretty justified in feeling quite smart right now. He’s also probably feeling a touch disappointed with recent reports about whether Sanders might be an option for his beloved Dallas Cowboys.
Saturday’s win moved Colorado to 8-2 on the season, which is already a four-win improvement from last year. Sanders’ methods may not be for everyone, but there is no question that they are translating to results.
