Watch: LeBron James leads ‘Taco Tuesday’ chant at end of Lakers blowout
LeBron James was loving life on Tuesday night as his Los Angeles Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 120-91 at Staples Center.
James was able to take an early seat on the bench thanks to the team’s big lead. While there, he led the fans in a “Taco Tuesday” chant.

James has made Taco Tuesday his thing since the summer. He began posting on social media every Tuesday about Taco Tuesday and even tried to file a trademark for it, though that attempt failed. Beyond that, James also sent a taco truck on Tuesday to first responders fighting a fire in Los Angeles.
What had to have made LeBron feel so great was watching teammate Anthony Davis at work. Davis had 40 points and 20 rebounds and carried the load for the Lakers, which is exactly what James wanted. Davis made life easy so LeBron could kick back and chant about tacos.
