Report: Rockets think they have Capela trade partner if they acquire Butler
The Houston Rockets believe they have what it takes to acquire Jimmy Butler — if he and the Philadelphia 76ers want to make it happen.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, the Rockets believe they have found a trade partner to move center Clint Capela in order to acquire assets to land Butler in a sign-and-trade deal. The Capela deal would be contingent on both Butler and the 76ers agreeing to such a proposal.

Reports have repeatedly indicated that the Rockets have been willing to move the likes of Capela to land a first-round pick that they would then flip for Butler. There is no indication at this point that Butler has agreed to anything, or that the Sixers would entertain the proposal — especially with one potential Capela destination sharing a division with them.
