The damaged caused by Lakers rookie D’Angelo Russell for his alleged video containing teammate Nick Young discussing a woman other than his fiancée, Iggy Azalea, he had been with will likely stick with him for a while.
Russell claims to have thought know one would see the Snapchat video. However, the damage has already been done. Russell has been labeled a snitch on his Wikipedia page and teammates are reportedly isolating him.
Tyrann Mathieu slammed Russell on Twitter, calling him a corndog. Terrance Knighton didn’t call the young point guard any names, but he did say Russell is lucky to not have to deal with a football locker room.

Knighton certainly knows the climate of football locker rooms, having spent plenty of time in them, including as a professional with the Jaguars, Broncos, and Redskins. I’ll take his word for it that an incident such as the one involving D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young would not go over well there. Needless to say, it has not been received warmly in the Lakers locker room either.
