Tyler Herro was not at all pleased about finally getting got this summer.
Video surfaced on Tuesday of the Milwaukee Bucks guard Herro learning that he had been traded away by the Miami Heat. Herro was included as a centerpiece of the package that went to Milwaukee in exchange for former NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo heading to Miami.
The video, which was posted by Herro to his YouTube page, showed that the veteran guard was in Paris, France at the time of the trade. He learned of the news while riding in a car and quickly dropped a profane response.
“Back to the f–king crib dog!” said Herro. “Y’all done lost your motherf–king mind.”

Herro, 26, had been with the Heat ever since they drafted him in 2019. He was the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2022 and an All-Star selection in 2025, also making it to the NBA Finals with Miami in 2020 (in addition to a second Finals run by the Heat in 2023 that Herro was injured for).
But over the last several seasons, Herro had been a constant inclusion in trade rumors as the Heat (unsuccessfully) pursued everyone from James Harden and Kevin Durant to Bradley Beal and Damian Lillard. But on June 22, Miami finally landed their superstar in the form of Antetokounmpo, and Herro was finally sent packing at long last.
Herro does have some reasons to be happy about the trade as he is a Milwaukee, Wisc. native who should get a lot of touches on a Bucks team now devoid of quality offensive options. But he may be salty towards the Heat for a long time, especially after the beef Herro started with his longtime Miami teammate Bam Adebayo which ultimately led to Adebayo punching Herro in a Summer League confrontation.
