Watch: DeMar DeRozan ejected for throwing ball at Scott Foster

Frustration got the best of DeMar DeRozan late in the San Antonio Spurs’ loss in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series with the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
DeRozan was upset about being called for a charge with about five minutes left in the game and his Spurs down by 18. He fired the ball at referee Scott Foster in frustration and was immediately ejected.

DeRozan did not have poor stats in the game. He was 7/13 for 19 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists, but he was a -16 and San Antonio’s starters were mostly outplayed by Denver’s starters.
Foster is notorious for being stringent with his foul calls and is a particular nemesis for one Western Conference contender. In this case, we can’t blame him for the ejection — it was deserved.
