Watch: PJ Tucker cleverly draws foul on Draymond Green
PJ Tucker employed a clever tactic to draw a foul on Draymond Green during Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
During the first quarter of Monday’s game between the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors, Tucker attempted a three-pointer from the corner. After releasing the shot, Tucker appeared to put his right arm around Green and pull him to the ground. Green was called for the foul. In real time, it looked as though that was the case.

Green, who had already been assessed a technical foul, was demonstrative after the play, voicing his displeasure at the call. As The Athletic’s Marcus Thompson pointed out, Green’s gripe was worthy, though it’s acknowledged it was a smart play by Tucker.
Draymond has a right to complain on that one. He blocked the 3 and PJ Tucker grabbed him on teh way down

Between this foul call and the technical Green got called for in the second minute of the game, it’s clear the officials have a close eye on Green.
