Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather meet at halftime of Heat game (Video)
It really happened. Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. were at the same place at the same time and even shared a conversation in person for the first time ever.
Both Pac-Man and Money Mayweather were at Tuesday’s Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks game and were introduced on the jumbotron, along with a tease questioning whether they would meet in the ring this year:
The two actually spoke at halftime of the game, with Mayweather walking over to Pac-Man and initiating the conversation. They even shook hands and Manny gave Floyd a little bro hug afterwards.
Heat reporter Ira Winderman says Mayweather was surrounded by security detail while Pacquiao did not seem to have anyone around him:
Six bodyguards then surround Mayweather as he walks back to his seat. Pacquiao seemingly sitting without personal security detail.

Pacquiao later spoke with the media and said it was the first time he had ever talked with Mayweather. He got Floyd’s cell phone number too.
Mayweather said it was important to get with Pacquiao to eliminate "the lies" that have been out there.

This meeting was huge for obvious reasons. There have been talks for years about the two fighting, though nothing has ever materialized. Pacquiao even said he had accepted contract terms from Floyd and recently set a deadline for Mayweather to accept the fight. My guess is that if the two fight, it won’t be until Floyd is out of his contract with Showtime.
