Clayton Custer sends Loyola Chicago to Sweet 16 with game-winner
Clayton Custer sent Loyola Chicago to the Sweet 16 by hitting a game-winning shot in the final seconds of the team’s second-round game against Tennessee on Saturday.
The Ramblers were down 62-61 after the Vols made a free throw with 21 seconds left. Custer, the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, delivered with an elbow jumper that bounced in with 3.6 seconds left.

The Vols missed a 3-pointer, allowing Loyola Chicago to escape with a 63-62 win.
The 30-5 Ramblers are now on to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1985.
