Coach K misses second half of Duke game after not feeling well
Mike Krzyzewski dealt with a stressful day on Tuesday, and it culminated with him not being able to coach part of Duke’s 76-74 win over Wake Forest.
Coach K needed the assistance of medical trainers multiple times in the first half of Duke’s game Tuesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Developing situation here at #Duke:
Coach K has not emerged from the halftime locker room, and Jon Scheyer is currently speaking to the team from the seat K normally does. K has been attended to by Duke trainers several times already tonight.

Jon Scheyer emerged as the acting head coach in the second half of the game after Coach K did not return to the bench after halftime.
Duke later announced that Coach K would not coach in the second half because he was not feeling well.

Despite the issues, it does sound like Coach K was doing alright.
Steve Forbes just asked the Duke bench from afar if Coach K was OK. Carrawell gave him a thumbs up.

Coach K’s health issues on Tuesday come the same day he was part of multiple headlines. A report about his involvement in the choice of his successor at Duke went viral. Krzyzewski was said to have chosen Scheyer as his successor. Coincidentally, Scheyer ended up coaching half of the win.
