Coach K says retirement is not on the horizon

Mike Krzyzewski turned 71 in February, but that doesn’t mean he’s thinking about retirement.
The Duke coach told the College Hoops Today podcast on Monday that his health is good and retirement has not crossed his mind.
“I have no plans to retire,” Krzyzewski said, via Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports. “I feel better than I have in a long time. I feel healthier than I have in a long time. There’s no end in sight.”
Coach K has battled some health issues in recent years, but has obviously come back well from them. Duke is still recruiting at a high level and remains a title contender on an annual basis. As long as that’s true, and as long as Krzyzewski feels good enough to do it, he has no reason to walk away.
