Crying Villanova band member getting redemption is just a Photoshop job
After Villanova’s national championship victory over Michigan on Monday, the Internet’s heart was with the band member who was seen crying after the Wildcats were eliminated from the 2015 NCAA Tournament. However, it turns out that her redemption was not exactly all that it seemed.
Following Villanova’s second title win in three years, an image went viral appearing to show said band member redemptively playing her instrument during the TBS broadcast in a very similar manner to the original shot of her.

However, the feel-good moment was fleeting as Twitter account “RedditCFB” soon pointed out that the image was actually a Photoshop done by them.

If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is. Alas, at least she has now had two national titles to celebrate in short order since that first moment of heartbreak. All those classic memes that she sparked were very real as well.
