The Indiana Hoosiers produced a dramatic early season moment Saturday with a buzzer-beating victory over Butler on the road.
Tied at 68, the Hoosiers looked like they’d wasted a possession as they struggled to get an open shot, but freshman guard Rob Phinisee stepped up and hit a 30-foot jumper as time expired to give Indiana a 71-68 win.

It was certainly the biggest shot of the freshman’s career to date on a fairly big stage.
Indiana didn’t do a lot right on the play except hit the shot, but that’s really the only part that matters. The basket lifts the Hoosiers to 9-2 as they continue their impressive early-season form, which has also seem them beat Marquette.
