JJ Culver sends awesome tweets after scoring 100 points in game
JJ Culver used to be known as Jarrett Culver’s brother. After Tuesday, he’s now known as the guy who scored 100 points in a game.
JJ Culver scored 100 points in Wayland Baptist’s 124-60 win over Southwest Adventist. He became the second NAIA player to score 100 points in a game.
Culver went 34-for-62 from the field, including 12-for-33 on threes and 20-for-27 on free throws. According to TexasBasketball.com, Culver scored his team’s first 42 points and had 51 by halftime, which broke the school’s record for points in a game.

Did the huge game and success go to Culver’s head? Not at all. He sent some awesome tweets afterwards, thanking everyone who helped him realize his dream.
First I have to thanks God. Second I couldn’t have done this without my coaches and teammates. Definitely a dream come true. I put in a lot of work for this. I love playing basketball and thanks everyone for the support pic.twitter.com/3Wy2fjljeG

What a great message.
Culver’s brother Jarrett starred at Texas Tech last season and was the No. 6 overall pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
