Report: Mark Fox emerges as coach candidate for Cal
Cal appears to have a new candidate for the head basketball coaching job.
According to CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish, the Golden Bears are looking at Mark Fox as a candidate.
Former Nevada and Georgia coach Mark Fox has emerged as a candidate at Cal, a source told @CBSSports.

Fox coached at Nevada for five seasons, winning the conference regular season four times and taking the Pack to the NCAA Tournament three times. He then got the Georgia job and had nine mostly mediocre seasons there, making the tourney just twice before being fired last year.
Cal is looking for a new coach after firing Wyking Jones following two disastrous 8-win campaigns.
