Photos from Alijah Arenas’ serious car crash have emerged.
Arenas, the 18-year-old son of former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, was involved in a bad crash early Thursday morning. The Los Angeles Police Department says Arenas crashed his Tesla Cybertruck before 5:00 a.m. while driving down Corbin Ave., just past the intersection with Blythe Street in Reseda, Calif. First responders arrived on the scene just before 5 am this morning.
A person named Corbin Williams shared photos and a video on X Thursday of a mangled Cybertruck that had crashed going south on Corbin Ave., just past Blythe St. It turned out that the video and photos were of Arenas’ Cybertruck.
Looks like a pretty solid impact, curtain airbags were deployed, and the side windows had to be broken out. Not sure if the owner knew about the manual door release.

Based on the photos, the front of Arenas’ Cybertruck was smashed up, and the front passenger side wheel had come off. Some airbags were deployed, and the side windows had to be broken.
According to Los Angeles Times reporter Ryan Kartje, police say Arenas was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

There was a report saying Arenas’ Cybertruck had caught fire. According to Kartje, the vehicle caught fire after being transported to a nearby tow yard. So the fire occurred hours after the crash, and when Arenas was not in the vehicle.
Arenas is one of the top basketball prospects for the class of 2025. He averaged 30.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.2 steals per game this season for Chatsworth High School in California this year. The car crash took place about four miles southeast of Chatsworth High School. Arenas’ prep accomplishments led to him being named as a McDonald’s All-American. He has committed to playing college ball at USC.
