Sean Miller says he did not give goodbye speech to Arizona fans
Arizona Wildcats coach Sean Miller raised some eyebrows with what sounded like a farewell speech to fans following the team’s regular season finale, and now he’s offering some clarification.
On Monday, Miller said it “certainly wasn’t a goodbye speech” and that he was “overwhelmed by the fact that there’s a crowd still in attendance” after a home loss to rival Arizona State.

Miller’s speech was somewhat bizarre, and it came amid the backdrop of an NCAA allegation last year and a 17-14 campaign this year. Those factors alone were enough to make people wonder if Miller’s time was up at Arizona, but at least in his mind, that is not the case.
