Video: Silvio De Sousa was about to use chair during Kansas brawl
An ugly fight broke out at the end of Tuesday night’s Kansas-Kansas State game, and the actions of Silvio De Sousa in the brawl were absurd.
De Sousa was part of the start of the fight. He had the ball stolen from him by DeJuan Gordon with five seconds left and blocked a Gordon layup attempt at the buzzer.
A fight then broke out behind the basket, with De Sousa at the center of things.
At one point, De Sousa picked up a stool behind the basket and held it above his head like he was about to swing it. Someone pulled it out of his hands.

De Sousa and David McCormack were among the Jayhawks players in the thick of the fight. They appeared to be going after Kansas State’s James Love, who did not dress for the game.
