Villanova Wildcats win

Regardless of what anybody else may tell you, this is by far the most impressive stat from Villanova’s two championship runs in the last three years.

As our friend Big Cat at Barstool Sports pointed out, Villanova has now gone 12-0 against the spread in its two title runs.

Villanova going 12-0 ATS in their 2 Championship runs is incredible

In ’16, Nova won its first game by 30 over UNC Asheville; its second game over Iowa by 19; its third game over Miami by 23; its fourth game by five over Kansas (as an underdog); its Final Four game over Oklahoma by 44!!!; and the championship game over North Carolina by 3 as a small underdog.

This year, Nova won its first game by 26 over Radford; its second game over Alabama by 23; its third game over West Virginia by 12; its fourth game over Texas Tech by 12; its Final Four game over Kansas by 16; and the championship by 17 over Michigan.

According to the Action Network, in the past 20 years, only 2006 Florida, 2009 North Carolina, 2014 Connecticut and 2015 Duke have also accomplished the feat.

Villanova was money in the bank and won this year for these biggest reasons. They’re what dreams are made of.
