BYU kept their undefeated season alive with an impressive road win over UCF on Saturday, and their best play of the day came on special teams.
The Cougars were leading 7-0 in the first quarter when they lined up to attempt a 46-yard field goal. Instead, they executed a perfect fake. BYU kicker Will Ferrin took a no-look, between-the-legs flip from holder Sam Vander Haar and turned the corner to pick up the first down.

Unfortunately for BYU, the successful fake did not lead to a touchdown. Ferrin still ended up kicking a field goal on the drive to give the Cougars a 10-0 lead, though it was from 5 yards closer than it would have been without the highlight-reel play.
BYU went on to defeat UCF 37-24 in what many predicted would be a letdown game. The No. 11 Cougars improved to 8-0 on the season.
