Curt Cignetti’s Indiana Hoosiers received a sideline warning during Saturday’s game against the Oregon Ducks at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore., due to the coach’s behavior.
Indiana had the ball with the game tied at 10 against Oregon midway through the second quarter. IU quarterback Fernando Mendoza threw a pass intended for Elijah Sarratt. The pass went incomplete as an Oregon defender was all over Sarratt and got away with pass interference.

It’s no surprise that Cignetti was so upset. The teams entered the game 5-0, and this was regarded as a great matchup with serious conference and potential College Football Playoff implications. The officials missing a call on a play like that is a big deal, and Cignetti wanted to make sure the officials knew it.
