Joe Burrow says LSU was fitted for rings before National Championship Game
Joe Burrow doesn’t drip the kind of swag on the field that other players do, but there is no disputing whether he has quiet confidence.
The LSU quarterback threw for five touchdowns and ran for another in his Tigers’ 42-25 win over Clemson in the National Championship Game on Monday night. After his fifth touchdown pass, Burrow pointed to his hand/finger as if to say he was ready for his championship ring.
In fact, when ESPN’s Maria Taylor asked him after the game about the finger point, Burrow shared that his team had already been fitted for their rings.
“Do you know what size ring you wear?”
“10-and-a-half. We already got fitted for 'em.” pic.twitter.com/1CZViCWdCN

Fans absolutely loved that answer, feeling that it was the ultimate show of confidence. And it was.
But LSU also won the SEC Championship Game and may have been fitted for rings for winning the conference, which could explain things. No matter how you look at it, LSU was making power moves all game and earned their rings.
