Lane Kiffin briefly got into it with an opposing player during last year’s thrilling game between Ole Miss and LSU, and that player is now dating the coach’s daughter.
Landry Kiffin, Lane’s 20-year-old daughter, confirmed this week that she is dating LSU star linebacker Whit Weeks. Landry first revealed the news of the relationship when she shared a video on social media with Weeks’ younger sister, and she then went Instagram official with a photo on Monday.
LSU beat Ole Miss 29-26 in overtime last season. During the first OT period, Weeks made a nice tackle near the Rebels’ sideline that resulted in a 2-yard loss. Weeks then stood up and stared at Kiffin. It looked like the two briefly exchanged words.

LAST YEAR, LSU LB WHIT WEEKS GOT INTO IT WITH LANE KIFFIN ON THE SIDELINE DURING THEIR GAME.
Now, Weeks announced that he is dating Kiffin’s daughter — a week before their game.

It is unclear when Landry and Weeks began dating. All we know is that Landry made the relationship official the same week that her dad’s team is preparing to face LSU again in one of the biggest games of the season. LSU is ranked No. 4 in the country and Ole Miss is No. 13. Both teams are 4-0.
Weeks had an impressive 18 total tackles in last year’s game against Ole Miss. If the star linebacker makes another big play in front of his girlfriend’s dad on Saturday, he would be wise to just put his head down and run back to the huddle this time.
