This was Ole Miss’ first time playing in the CFP, and it was the culmination of six hard years of work from Kiffin during his time in Oxford, Miss. And guess what? Kiffin thought so little of the team he built that he left them ahead of the playoffs, feeling that LSU would give him a better chance of winning national championships.
Maybe Kiffin is right that LSU will be a better spot for winning championships. But it still doesn’t change that the person who should have believed in his team the most is the one who believed in them the least. His heart may be broken for his former team, but fans think he may feel otherwise.
