Once upon a time, it looked like the LSU Tigers might have a shot at dethroning the Alabama Crimson Tide atop the SEC West. An emphatic 29-0 home defeat at the hands of the Crimson Tide put an end to LSU’s ambitions rather quickly.
So what set Alabama apart from LSU? According to star cornerback Greedy Williams, it’s just one little factor.
Here in Atlanta covering the college football awards stuff, and Thorpe Award finalist Greedy Williams was asked the difference between LSU and Alabama: "Just being real, they can score the ball and we can't."

Points to Williams for honesty, though LSU quarterback Joe Burrow might not appreciate the assessment, and they did put up 36 on the Georgia Bulldogs. It’s hard to argue with, though; in offering his customary praise for his opponent, Nick Saban spent a lot more time talking about LSU’s defense than he did their offense.
