A couple of Michigan Wolverines were fighting on the sidelines during a frustrating first half against the Oklahoma Sooners at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla., on Saturday.
Michigan was trailing Oklahoma 14-0 at halftime. They were down 7-0 late in the second quarter when one of their drives ended in a 32-yard missed field goal attempt by Dominic Zvada. Oklahoma responded by taking the ball 80 yards for a touchdown to increase their lead to 14-0.
After Michigan’s missed field goal, Wolverines quarterback Bryce Underwood and running back Justice Haynes were seen in a confrontation on the sideline. Underwood grabbed Haynes, and Haynes appeared to be trying to jerk away.

Haynes showed up in a big way after halftime. He rushed for a 75-yard touchdown on Michigan’s first play from scrimmage in the second half. Underwood had only gone 5/10 for 76 yards in the first half.
Underwood, who is a true freshman and was the No. 1 recruit in the country, was 21/31 for 251 yards and a touchdown in Michigan’s opener. Haynes is a transfer from Alabama and had 16 carries for 159 yards and 3 touchdowns in his Wolverines debut.
