Notre Dame’s shocking 43-40 home overtime loss to Notre Dame on Saturday will have far-reaching repercussions, including some serious consequences for Mike Golic.
Golic, who played football at Notre Dame, made a bet with his on-air co-host Mike Greenberg, who is a Northwestern alum. If Notre Dame lost to the Wildcats, Golic would have to get oiled up and recreate the Kim Kardashian “Break the Internet” photo.
Naturally the Fighting Irish went on to lose, leaving Golic to tweet in shock afterwards about having to pay off his bet.

Am I living in some sort of dream world right now???? @NDmom not happy at the thought of possibly oiling me up

There is no way that just happened, I can't even fathom how much oil I will need to cover my body

Greeny was absolutely loving it:

The stock price on baby oil skyrockets in overnight trading.

Decades ago @NDmom agreed to love Golic "in good times and bad." I don't think anyone could have foreseen this.

Golic’s son Mike Jr. even chimed in:
If you're rooting for Northwestern you're basically admitting you want to see my dad oiled up and you're a sick pervert.

And Golic’s wife Christine clearly seems thrilled about the idea:
What have I agreed to unleash on America?

There are somethings you just can't unsee.

It’s not the recreation of the Kardashian photo that I’m looking forward to, but rather the awesome Photoshops that will inevitably come, just like they did with Prince Fielder.
