Pop-Tarts Bowl shenanigans have gone completely viral
The Pop-Tarts Bowl game between Kansas State and North Carolina State went viral on social media for reasons much sweeter than football.
Kansas State outlasted NC State in a 28-19 affair at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. But what captivated fans watching the game were the various Pop-Tarts-related hijinks that went on throughout the contest.
The Pop-Tarts mascot’s entrance out of a giant toaster was iconic enough to garner millions of views on X. One fan even jokingly called the moment “the cultural epicenter of college football.”

When you combine this w/the toaster trophy it is neither difficult, nor an exaggeration, to say that the Pop Tarts Bowl has taken its place as the cultural epicenter of college football pic.twitter.com/7yJZ2ddLMR

Once the celebration died down and the confetti had stopped falling, the Pop-Tarts mascot ended the night with a fitting finish. It got toasted into an actual edible Pop-Tart, which the Kansas State players were able to indulge in.
