Steve Spurrier, Les Miles make funny bet over Florida-LSU game
Two coaching legends have made a funny wager over Saturday’s upcoming game between LSU and Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.
Former Tigers head coach Les Miles tweeted at Steve Spurrier on Tuesday to set things up, asking how much he wanted to bet the Gators would lose the game.
Hey @SteveSpurrierUF… how much you wanna bet your Gators are going down this weekend? #GameOn

Spurrier, who played for the Gators and later won a national championship with them as a head coach, had a funny response.
.@CoachLesMiles shoot, we’re going to win on Saturday. If we don’t, I’ll eat some of that grass of yours. When we do win, you’re wearing my visor! #GoGators https://t.co/6asGecE37v

So there you have it: If LSU wins, Spurrier will eat some grass like Miles used to do. If Florida wins, Miles will put on Spurrier’s signature visor.
Miles is lucky that all he’ll have to do is wear a visor if his Tigers lose. When it comes to dealing with Spurrier, the one thing you want to avoid is becoming the subject of one of his infamous zingers.
