TCU loses star DT Ross Blacklock for the season
TCU has already lost one of its top defensive players for the season.
Defensive tackle Ross Blacklock is out for the season after suffering an injury on Tuesday. 247 Sports first reported the news and says the injury happened on a non-contact play. Bruce Feldman says Blacklock suffered an Achilles injury.

Blacklock has 6.5 tackles for a loss as a freshman last season and two sacks. The 6-foot-4, 326-pounder was expected to be a big part of the team’s defense this year.
TCU opens up the season against Southern on Sept. 1.
