Bill Belichick’s first game as the head coach at North Carolina could not have gone much worse, and the team that spoiled his debut was quick to pour salt in the wound.
TCU dominated North Carolina 48-14 on Monday night at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, N.C. The Tar Heels opened the game with an 83-yard touchdown drive and then forced a punt on TCU’s first possession, but there were not many positives from Belichick’s team after that.
Last week, UNC officially announced that it has partnered with Hulu for a series that will follow Belichick’s first season with the program. No release date has been set, but it is rumored that the show will premiere later this fall.
After their team manhandled UNC, the official X account of TCU Football took a ruthless shot at the Tar Heels over the upcoming series.

Belichick got it from all angles during and after the game. He quickly became the subject of some incredibly clever memes, and there were also plenty of jokes that were tied to his 24-year-old girlfriend.
Most people assumed there would be an adjustment period for Belichick in his first season as a college coach, but the result on Monday night was as bad as it gets. Belichick will now have to quickly put the loss behind him to prepare UNC for a quick turnaround with Saturday’s game against Charlotte.
