USC might not be in as bad of a spot for Saturday’s game against Arizona State as it currently seems.
USC is preparing third-string QB Jack Sears to start against the Sun Devils due to injuries to their top two QBs. Starter JT Daniels is in concussion protocol, while backup Matt Fink has three broken ribs.
The good news is that Daniels passed the initial stage of concussion protocol and is expected to play against ASU, according to Rivals’ Adam Maya.
