Utah running back Joe Williams rushed for a school record on Saturday against UCLA, and then he twisted the knife with a little bit of trash talk.
Williams rushed for 332 yards and four touchdowns as Utah outscored UCLA 52-45 at the Rose Bowl. He was so much of Utah’s offense that he accounted for 92 percent of the team’s rushing yards (360 total) and 62 percent of the team’s total yards in the game. He had touchdown runs of 64, 55, 43 and 3.
UCLA’s defense seemed like it was chasing Williams around all day, and that’s what Williams noted afterwards.

Utah's Joe Williams on the UCLA defense: "Im pretty sure they're tired of seeing the back of my jersey running down the field."

Yes, the Bruins and their fans were sick of seeing that.
What’s even more astounding about Williams’ performance is that the man retired from football two games into the season but returned after the Utes sustained injuries. Since returning, he has posted a 179-yard game and now a 332-yard game.
Maybe other running backs around the country should consider temporary retirements.
