Life wouldn’t be normal if there weren’t a problem for Jose Canseco. Luckily for us, celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman is planning to sue Canseco to bring a sense of normalcy to our lives.
If you’ll remember correctly, Jose had his twin brother show up and stand in for him at a celeb boxing event in Florida. Ozzie Canseco ended up being thrown out when it was realized he wasn’t Jose, and the fight didn’t happen.
We initially laughed off the story and shared Jose’s side which said he wasn’t paid what he was supposed to receive for the event. Turns out he was the one full of crap and that he really was paid $5,000 up front but not his additional $5,000 for a fight-night appearance. The money paid up front is what Feldman will likely be seeking in court, according to Radar Online.
Jose better watch it, because the broke bastard may have to end up paying Feldman’s attorneys’ fees, which is bad enough for a guy who is already in awful financial shape.
