Amari Cooper reportedly battling strained heel
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper has seen his preseason slowed by a heel problem.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Cooper has not been practicing due to a heel muscle strain. Though there is no clear timetable for his return, Cooper has not been ruled out for preseason and is aiming to get back into action as quickly as possible. The Cowboys still have three remaining preseason games for Cooper to aim for.
Cooper caught six touchdowns in nine games after the Cowboys acquired him from the Oakland Raiders last season. He’s been seeking a new contract during training camp, and while nothing has been agreed, reports indicate that he does have an offer on the table that he hasn’t acted on yet.
