Andre Johnson and Frank Gore are two veterans in search of their first championship, and they could be pursuing it together in 2015.
Lane Zierlein of NFL.com reports that Johnson was headed to Indianapolis on a private jet Tuesday morning after he and Gore decided they would be signing with the Colts.
Gore has been linked to the Colts throughout free agency. A report over the weekend indicated that he had agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, but it sounds like Gore got cold feet somewhere along the line.

The Houston Texans officially released Johnson on Monday after they were unable to trade him. With Reggie Wayne potentially not in the Colts’ future plans, the team has been looking for a possession receiver to pair with speedster T.Y. Hilton. It initially looked like they might swing a deal for this guy, but Johnson could provide equal value.
Both Gore, 31, and Johnson, 34, present injury risks at this point in their careers. That said, they have been two of the most effective offensive players in the league for a number of years. They would certainly make Indy’s offense better if healthy.
