Look: Arrowhead Stadium snow-covered ahead of Chiefs-Colts
Weather looks set to be a significant factor Saturday as the Indianapolis Colts take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional playoff.
Various pictures from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City showed snowy conditions less than three hours before gametime, with a major effort underway to get the field cleared for play.
You can see half the midfield logo. Snow is quickly accumulating wherever the tarp has been removed. Crews still working on the first half of the field. #Colts pic.twitter.com/R86l9WgiHW

Looks like we’ve got some action on the chiefs side of the field. Tough to see through the snow in the binoculars, but if I had to guess it’s Marcus Kemp and Gehrig Dieter pic.twitter.com/WCIhIvpjAs

Accumulating snow is expected to be more or less done with ahead of kickoff, so proceedings won’t look like this. Enough will have fallen to impact proceedings, though, and it will be interesting to see how both teams cope.
