Art Briles has what appears to be his first coaching gig since parting ways with Baylor.
Briles is serving as a guest coach for the Cleveland Browns, according to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot. The former Baylor coach was on the Browns’ practice field Wednesday and helping to coach the team’s offense.
Briles was invited to assist by Browns head coach Hue Jackson, who has said he will take advice and help from anybody he can.
Briles has familiarity with some of Cleveland’s players, such as Robert Griffin III, Corey Coleman and Spencer Drango — all of whom he coached in college.
The former Baylor coach also visited Dallas Cowboys camp in August and said then he expected to get a new job soon.
