The Pittsburgh Steelers got two first-round picks when they selected Artie Burns at No. 25 overall in the NFL Draft on Thursday. They also got his girlfriend, Ella.
Ella and Burns, a top CB from Miami who also is a track star, have been together for three years. Burns had to grow up quickly when their son was born 19 months ago. Since they already have a family, it’s no surprise that Ella will be accompanying Artie to Pittsburgh, which is not always the case for college girlfriends.
She seemed pretty excited when the draft pick was announced:
